High Line Canal

Showcasing the value and beauty of the High line Canal through storytelling

Circuit Media helped the High Line Canal Conservancy in its mission to preserve, protect, and enhance the 71-mile High Line Canal spanning 11 governmental jurisdictions in Colorado. As a “Certifiably Green Denver Business,” Circuit Media has a strong commitment to the environment and is always looking for ways to connect with its community by promoting environmental stewardship.

The Conservancy told our team that it was looking for creative ways to collect stories and memories about the Canal from the community. The goal was to preserve the Canal’s social history while encouraging surrounding communities to continue protecting its future through fundraising.

Video Production

Our team delivered a 5-minute video showing community members sharing their stories along the Canal and several shorter videos for social media. Filming took place over the course of two months and included interviews and b-roll of several individuals along unique sections of the Canal. Production also included voiceover narration, and drone and steady cam footage for b-roll shots.

Campaign Design

Our design team collaborated with the Conservancy to create a number of marketing materials, including a flyer, story cards, and social media posts to move viewers to share their stories and memories about the Canal. Circuit Media created a campaign that included a marketing and communications strategy, a timeline for the effort, key objectives, and a description of the final deliverables. We also developed a webpage featured on the Conservancy’s site to allow individuals to easily submit their Canal stories and memories. After collecting over 40 submissions from the community, Circuit Media selected 10 of the individuals to share their stories on camera.

“Circuit Media’s perseverance in seeing the project through to the end, flexibility with our schedules and the high quality of work and communication throughout the process. From the early promotional videos and social media posts the team created, to the collection of stories, scheduling of interviews and professional editing, we could not be happier with the outcome of this important video project for our organization.”
